NINETALES are known to be extremely intelligent and highly vindictive, and many legends state that if someone were to touch one of it's tales, NINETALES will lay a 1,000 year CURSE upon them.  Another legend states that nine noble saints had united, and were reincarnated as NINETALES, and another states that each of it's nine tales have a different mystical power.Yet other legends state that the tales have the power to keep NINETALES alive for 1,000 years, and that a long lived NINETALES' fur shimmers like gold.  Its also stated that NINETALES can use its supernatural abilities to manipulate fire, and it can even burn its prey to a crisp as it pleases.  It can cast a sinister light from it's bright red eyes to gain total control of it's opponent's mind.  Even more curious, it is so intelligent, that it can fully understand human speech.  The way in which it's nine tales move resembles the burning flames of a fire.  Some claim that a NINETALES that lives on the snowy mountain tops blends into the snowy terrain, making it almost mystical, but none have ever been able to record such a NINETALES.
